MUTTON KABAB CHEESE PARATHA
Its a Ramadan month, Ramadan is a month of fasting, prayers and purity. During Ramadan Muslims will keep rozah (fasting). Muslims are prohibited to eat and drink during dawn (sehri) to sunset (iftar).
During sehri and iftar, wide varieties of food was prepared.
But as a mom I can understand yours feeling, we cannot understand what to cook on sehri and iftar always we will be in confused state, especially during iftar time. Because in iftar we will became so tried, no energy left in our body. That time we always search for simple, easy dishes to prepare.
For this reason, I have took you to show easy, simple, and tasty dish called MUTTON KABAB CHEESE PARATHA. During iftar our children's will crave to eat variety dishes especially non-veg.
I figure out a very simple steps to follow, no messy ingredients. I have posted each and every steps with picture. So that you can understand the whole process pretty easily.
It not only easy recipe but also freezable, it will reduce your work. And it also a very healthy, it loaded with full of protein and fiber.
To make the mutton kabab cheese paratha, first we will make paratha, we follow the normal process for making dough and keep it aside for 15-30 minute to set. After 15-30 minute roll the dough and slightly roast in pan both the side without oil and bubbles on top of paratha.
Keep it aside. Else we can freeze in zip lock bag for 2-3 days in freezer.
To make kabab, in large bowl take mutton mince, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, roasted and crumbled onion, roasted gram flour powder, green chillies, fresh coriander leaves, roasted and grinded cumin seed and coriander seeds, red chilli flasks, by using yours hand mix it well until it all comes together.
Slightly apply oil on hand make medium sized mutton patties (kabab). Pour the oil and fry the kabab one by one completely.
Once we completed doing all kabab, its time arrange inside paratha. Place one kabab, one cheese slice in half done flatbread and seal it with flour paste.
Fry the paratha in pan by using desi ghee, until each and every side cooked and color changed into brown. Cheese will melt in paratha and it will give another taste for the dish.
That's it, yummy.... yummy... mutton kabab cheese paratha is ready, serve it with chutney or sauces. your kids will love it.
PREPARATION TIME : 20 minute
COOKING TIME : 30 minute
TOTAL TIME : 40 - 50 minute
INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE HALF DONE FLATEBREAD:
- Wheat flour - 2 cups
- Water as required
- Salt as required
- Warm milk as needed
- Oil - 1 tsp
FOR THE MUTTON KABAB:
- Mutton mince - 1/2 kg
- Red chilli powder - 1/2tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Gram masala - 1/2tsp
- Brown crushed onion - 1/4 cup
- Red chilli flasks - 1/2 tsp
- Ginger, Garlic paste - 1 STP
- Green chilli - 4
- Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
- Roasted and grained cumin seed and coriander seeds - 1 tsp
- Dried roasted gram flour - 1/4 cup
- Salt as required
FOR FRY:
- Oil as required
- Ghee as required
METHOD:
- Mix wheat flour, salt, warm milk, oil, water together and make a normal soft dough, keep it aside for 15-30 minutes. Roll the dough and make normal paratha, fry both the side of paratha on pan without use of oil and bubbles on paratha.
- Mix mutton mince, salt, ginger, garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli flasks, green chillies, coriander leaves, roased and crumble onion, roasted and grained cumin seeds and coriander seeds powder, dried roasted gram flour
- Mix it well and make medium size mutton patties (kabab), fry it in pan by use of oil.
- Place one kabab, one cheese In half done flatbread and fry it in pan by use of ghee.
- Serve it with sauces, else chutneys.
